Join the free waitlist and we will e-mail you as soon as early access opens. Nothing is charged before launch. - **What is a deepfake call?** A deepfake call uses an AI-generated or cloned voice to impersonate someone you trust – a relative, a manager or a bank employee – usually to make you send money or share codes. - **Can a phone number really be faked?** Yes. Caller ID spoofing lets attackers display almost any number. That is why Identity Phone verifies the person, not just the number. - **Is there a free trial?** No. Identity Phone is subscription-only with no trial period. You can cancel at the end of any monthly or yearly billing period. - **Can I cancel at any time?** Yes. You manage and cancel your subscription yourself in the billing portal. Your protection stays active until the end of the paid period. - **Do you offer an API?** Yes. The API plan gives developers number risk scoring, caller verification and synthetic voice detection over REST. ## Blog (English) - [The best API against spam calls in 2026: an honest comparison](https://identityphone.com/en/blog/best-spam-call-blocking-api.md): Number lookup, caller reputation, STIR/SHAKEN or deepfake detection?
